Begin appointment

When you are ready to start your appointment, follow the steps below.

Your service provider will have sent you a link to use to access their video call waiting area. If they have not, please contact them to request the link.

Example: The link may look like this: attendanywhere.com/room-name

1. Enter the link into your browser's address bar and select Enter. If you received the link via a text or email, click or tap it.

2. Follow the on-screen prompts to enter your service provider's waiting area.

   Important: Be sure to select Allow if your browser asks to access your microphone and camera. The video call cannot proceed without this access.

   Your service provider will see that you are waiting and will join your call as soon as they are available.

Waiting area audio

There is audio playing while you wait. This may be music, sounds of nature, or a recorded message from your service provider. You can switch this audio off by selecting Switch off hold music.

When your service provider joins the call:

• a 'ding' sound will play, even if you have switched off the hold music

• both you and your provider will be audible, as the Switch off hold music setting does not affect the call.

About the call screen

When your service provider joins your call, they will appear in the call screen with you.

The call screen differs slightly, depending on whether you are having an individual appointment or are participating in a group consultation. For more information, see Understanding the call screen.
