Invite someone to a meeting

If you are a meeting room member for a particular meeting room, you can invite guests to that room either before or during the meeting. Guests can be from inside or outside your organisation.

To invite a guest to a meeting before the meeting starts, send them the meeting room link:

  1. From the main menu, select Meeting Rooms and select or search for the one you need. The action menu opens.

  2. Select Copy Meeting Room Link. A banner confirms that the link has been copied to your device's clipboard.

  3. Paste the link into an email, letter, or chat program to send to the guest, or send it via text message.

Note: Guests can arrive first in the meeting room, but they must be joined by a meeting room member within 10 minutes or the call will end.

Invite during meeting

To invite a guest to a meeting that is in progress:

  1. From the call screen, select More More button and then Invite guest. The invite-guest panel opens.

  2. Chose an option:

    • Enter the email address of the guest and select Send email.

    • Enter the UK mobile phone number of the guest and select Send text message.

    • Select Copy link to copy a URL so that you can paste it into an email or chat program to send to the guest.

Important: As soon as the guest opens the link and enters their details, they are admitted to the call.
