Select background

Note: This feature is only available for group consultations, and only when joining with a desktop, laptop, or Android device.

To maintain privacy during a group consultation call, you can blur your background or select an image to use as your background. Others on the call will be able to clearly see you, but whatever is behind you will be blurred, or replaced by your chosen image.

Example: If the background of your video contains confidential material, you may want to blur your background.

  1. Select either of the following options:

    • More actions button. (More settings button) and then Select Background button. (Select background button).

    • (Video settings button, available on desktops only) and then Select Background button. (Select background button).

  2. From the Virtual backgrounds window, select one of the Blur options, or select an image, and then select Apply. Your background changes.

Tip: To remove the background effect, select the icon again. Select None and then Apply.
