My internet connection test failed

When attempting to enter a waiting area, the connection test fails.

This can happen when: 

  • the internet cannot be reached, for example, the internet connection dropped out

    A dialog with the text, We cannot reach outside your network. Your network is not allowing you to make video calls over the internet. If you are calling someone on the same network as you, the call may still work. See help for more information. The Restart Test button appears on the lower left of the dialog, and the Continue Anyway link appears in the lower centre.

  • your internet speed is not fast enough to use this service or the internet connection is unstable

    A dialog with the text, There is a problem with your connection. Your internet connection is not fast enough to use this service. Check your internet connection, then restart the test to continue. See help for more information. The Restart Test button appears on the lower left of the dialog, and the Continue Anyway link appears in the lower centre.
