Enable audio recording for a waiting area

Important: The audio recording feature is only available to organisations on request.

Note: Recording is not available to NHS Scotland.

When audio recording has been enabled for an organisational unit, it is initially disabled by default for all Waiting areas within that unit. If you are an organisation administrator, you can enable audio recording for a waiting area. This must be done from the Organisational Units screen.

To enable recording for a waiting area:

  1. From the main menu, select Organisational Units and select or search for the one you need.

  2. Select the waiting area for which you want to enable audio recording.

  3. In the waiting area settings panel, select Settings then Audio Recording. The Audio Recording dialog opens.

  4. Set the toggle switch to On.

  5. Select Save. Audio recording is now enabled for this waiting area.
