What’s new and what’s changed in this release of Induction Attend Anywhere

Released from Monday 24 March 2025

This release contains the following improvements:

  • NHS Wales only. Callers can now use Attend Anywhere with a Welsh user interface (UI), in addition to English. Callers can switch language in any screen (call entry, waiting, or in the call) and the page reloads with the new language. Providers and administrators continue to see the UI in English. There are new waiting-area settings to enter your Welsh labels and instructional text.

  • Administrators managing user accounts can now navigate directly to the user’s waiting areas. We added links to the Roles screen and last-10-calls list.

Bug fixes

This release fixes the following bugs:

  • After a provider muted a caller’s microphone in a group consultation, the microphone became unmuted when the caller changed rooms. Now, microphones remain muted after changing rooms.

  • When a provider or administrator opened a user-account panel (such as MFA Settings or Change my email) from waiting-list pages, clicking Cancel did not return to the same page. Now, clicking Cancel returns people to the previous page.

  • We also fixed some small user-interface issues which include popover menus, button labels, and text formatting in the sign-in and call screens.

Known issues

New issues and limitations with this release:

  • After quickly, and repeatedly, switching between Welsh and English languages in the call-settings panel, the organisation and waiting-area names might be in the wrong language. To work around this problem, reload the page in your browser.

  • When entering a date of birth using the date picker, callers using the Welsh interface see months and days of the week in English.
