Tips for a better internet connection

To get the best video quality during your call, try these tips:

• Connect your device to the internet with a cable, if possible. Next best is a wireless (WiFi) internet connection.

• If using WiFi, such as in your home or office, move closer to the internet modem or router. Ideally, you would be able to see it from your device.

• Disconnect other devices that are using the same WiFi connection, and close any applications you won't need during the call, such as streaming television, device updates, or online gaming.

• If using mobile broadband, choose an area with good reception.

• On the call screen, switch off your video when you are not using it. For more information, see Pause your video.
