Start a call

If you are a service provider, you can start calls as described in the sections below.

Tip: You can Test your equipment before you start your calls.

Individual appointment

  1. From the main menu, select Waiting Areas and select or search for the one you need.

  2. If there are service usersClosed A person who is seeking care or advice from a service provider via video call. A service user may be a patient, client, consumer, citizen, or similar. waiting, they will be listed in the Caller column. Select the name of the service user you need. The action menu opens.

  3. Select Join Call. The call screen opens in a new window and your call is in progress.

Group consultation

  1. From the main menu, select Waiting Areas and select or search for the one you need.

    Tip: Look for the Group Consultations label on the waiting area's tile.

  2. Select Launch call. A new window opens and displays the group consultations call screen.

    Note: If you cannot see the Launch call button, it means no participants have entered the waiting area yet. The call cannot begin until the first participant arrives.

  3. In the call screen, select People .

  4. In the People panel, the Waiting list shows who is waiting to join. To admit:

    • all participants, select Admit All.

    • only some participants to the call, select Yes beside their name.

  5. The group consultation is now in progress.

If you admit someone by mistake, you can remove them from the call by selecting More More buttonand then Remove from call.

Consult Now

  1. From the main menu, select Waiting Areas and select or search for the one you need.

  2. Select the Consult Now tab, and then select the Consult Now button.

  3. Complete the fields on the Consult Now invitation screen and then select Send invitation.

  4. Select Open call. A new window opens. From here, you can do one of the following:

    • Wait in the new window for your invitee. This window becomes the call screen when your invitee joins the call.

      Note: The invitee has five minutes to join. To extend this time, select an option from the Extend time list.

    • Go back to the waiting area. When your invitee's name appears under In progress calls, select the name and then select Join Call. The call screen opens in a new window and your call is now in progress.

      Note: The invitee has five minutes to join. To extend this time, select the person's name from the Initiated calls list and then select Extend time. Select an option from the list.
