  • Part 1: Migrating microservices from Serverless to AWS CDK.

  • The waiting area now allows callers to hide their self-view while keeping their camera state unchanged.

  • Hide self-view has been introduced to regular consultations.

  • A Back to Waiting Areas button has been added to the Organisational Unit page for easier navigation back to Waiting Areas.

  • Group consultation settings no longer inherit organisational unit settings and will retain their own configured values when no value is set.

  • Request-enabled: An auditable participant attendance export has been added for group consultations.

  • NHS Scotland only: New organisational units will now have their SMS sender ID set to “Near Me”.

  • Consult UK and DWP only: Password reset messages have been updated to include site-specific contact details.

Bug fixes

This release fixes the following bugs:

  • The invite to call function on some mobile devices in landscape view encountered an error. The invite to call function now works as expected on these devices.

  • In Rapid Entry calls, the "Allow the browser to play all audio" modal displayed an incorrectly styled icon. The icon is now displayed correctly and is consistent with the expected design.

  • Some After Call URLs were not accepted due to domain validation. After Call URLs now accept supported domains as expected.

  • Previously, some text alignment and sizing were inconsistent across the application. Text alignment and sizing are now consistent.

  • Occasionally, callers could not hear other participants after joining a breakout room. Callers can now hear all participants as expected.

  • In rare cases, service providers could not join breakout rooms before assigning callers. Service providers can now join breakout rooms as expected.

  • In previous versions, when an incorrect email address or password was entered, the red banner error displayed. The VCM login screen now displays only the relevant error message.

  • An incorrect icon was displayed when a user was added to the waiting area. The correct icons are now displayed.

  • Visual improvements have been made to the caller entry screen to address inconsistencies.

  • The MFA user experience has been improved with spelling corrections and behavioural enhancements.

  • Hide self-view was applied unexpectedly after a call refresh in rare cases. Hide self-view now remains unchanged after a call refresh, providing a more consistent experience.

  • NHS Wales only: An issue causing guests to see an error when changing their preferred language or refreshing the page before joining an in-progress call has been resolved.

  • NHS Wales only: Consistency improvements have been made for Welsh language mode.
