r101 release notes

What’s new and what’s changed in this release of Induction Attend Anywhere

Released from Monday 26 October 2026

Improvements

This release contains the following improvements:

  • Part 2: Improvements to support compliance with the WCAG 2.2 accessibility standard has been implemented.

  • When joining a group consultation, callers are now notified that their microphones have been automatically muted.
  • The group consultation chat now stays on the message that is being read instead of automatically scrolling to the latest message for both the provider and the caller, with an option to access the latest message. This is supported in Welsh as well.

  • NHS Scotland only: In group consultations, when the list of participants is exported, the columns are now simplified.
  • Minor UI improvements have been made to ensure a more consistent experience throughout the call screen.

  • Admins are now able to access a waiting area directly if they manage reporting tags related to that waiting area, instead of having to locate the organization and the relevant waiting area again.

  • The email received when a new group consultation waiting area is created now contains a Help Centre link instead of the Quick Start Guide PDF, providing access to the most up-to-date documentation available on setup guidance and support.

  • Help centre links now direct to the relevant article page instead of the home page, making the required information more easily accessible.
  • Group consultations now open in gallery view by default, allowing participants to see all the attendees simultaneously on joining a session.

  • In group consultations, service providers can now use Picture-in-Picture (PiP) when sharing a presentation. The floating PiP window allows participants to remain visible while presenting, providing a more seamless user experience. Call screen controls, including camera and microphone controls, are also available within the PiP window, enabling service providers to efficiently manage participant states throughout the session.
  • The PiP window dynamically prioritises and displays participants so that the most relevant participants remain in focus, with priority given to pinned participants, participants with a raised hand, the active speaker, participants with video enabled, and then the remaining participants.

Bug fixes

This release fixes the following bugs:

  • The self-tile did not show a border during a two-way call when either the caller or the provider, or both had their camera shutter closed. The border is now displayed as expected.
  • When filtering by the All status, inactive users were excluded from the search results. When filtering by the Inactive status, the list of inactive users was incomplete. Additionally, when filtering by Invited, the email field was disabled. All these issues have now been fixed, and the search results are now complete and accurate.

  • Consult UK only: The phrase "Social Inclusion", in the Reporting tag was previously misspelt. This has been corrected.
