r94 release notes
What’s new and what’s changed in this release of Induction Attend Anywhere
Released from Monday 15 September 2025
Improvements
This release contains the following improvements:
-
Service providers can now launch a group consultation before participants join. In a group-consultation waiting area, providers see a Launch call button instead of a disabled Waiting for callers button. This helps providers prepare before participants arrive.
-
Participants on mobile devices can now choose to hide their self-view during a call. Also, we now persist this setting when moving between breakout rooms and the main room in group consultations.
-
When assigning callers to breakout rooms, providers can assign themselves at the same time—so callers are not left alone without a provider.
-
When someone changes the password on their Attend Anywhere account, the account holder now receives an email confirming the change (or alerting them to an unauthorised change).
-
The Platform Accounts report now includes who created or, when applicable, removed access for each account. Two new fields: Created by and Access removed by.
-
The MFA-setup screen now shows a recommended security-code method based on the site. For example, Near Me recommends email codes; other sites recommend an authenticator app.
-
When adding or managing roles for an account, administrators can now view a permissions summary. This is available in organisational-unit settings (not in the users list or personal profiles).
-
In group consultations, service providers can now view patient details from the caller’s video tile in the More menu (⋮). The chevron that previously held these details has been removed. This applies only to service providers, across all devices (desktop, tablet, and mobile)
Bug fixes
This release fixes the following bugs:
-
We now reserve one slot for screen sharing —so screen sharing always works, even in large group consultations.
-
Multiple fixes improve reliability and clarity, including correct chat button tooltips and proper display of messages from participants with the same name.
-
Calls now end correctly when someone isn’t admitted to a group consultation. Previously, removed callers kept hearing waiting music. Now, they see the call-ended screen.
-
Editing the telephone number for caller-arrival alerts no longer causes the waiting-area links page to appear blank. The page now displays as expected after changes.
-
In group consultations, the More menu (⋮) for participants at the bottom of the People list previously opened on the far left and was partially cut off. It now opens in the correct position across all layouts and devices.
-
In group consultations, background blur for callers sometimes failed if the camera was toggled on and off quickly. Blur now applies reliably.
