r88 release notes
What’s new and what’s changed in this release of Induction Attend Anywhere
Released from Monday 3 March 2025
This release contains the following improvements:
-
When someone is sharing their screen, participants can now zoom in to see more detail. On computers, a small panel appears with zoom controls. On mobile phones and tablets, participants pinch to zoom in or out.
-
Callers, providers, and administrators can now use Attend Anywhere in an unsupported browser or device. Someone using Firefox (for example) is still directed to the unsupported-browser page but now has an option to test their device and continue anyway.
Bug fixes
This release fixes the following bugs:
-
Intermittently, call participants saw a banner explaining that they’d reached the maximum call duration, and the call would end in 5 minutes. We’ve improved call timing so participants should only see this message just before the 4-hour limit.
-
In group consultations, when 2 providers admitted a caller at the same time, the second provider saw an unexpected-error message and their waiting-callers panel didn’t update. Now when this happens, the caller is admitted without showing an error and the waiting-callers panel updates.
-
When moving a group of patients between rooms in a group consultation, sometimes one of the participants could not be moved. Now, all the participants move to the new room.
-
Sometimes an email invitation to register a new Attend Anywhere account did not work because some email apps reformatted special characters in the security token. Now we encode the security token allowing for these potential changes.
-
After opening the Users screen in a small browser window, clicking a table row near the top of the list did not show the actions menu. Now, the table shows the menu.
-
Network error messages during sign-in were not removed when the network returned and someone navigated away from the page. Now Attend Anywhere removes old network error messages when someone navigates away.
-
When an administrator changed the configuration for an organisational unit, Attend Anywhere sent an email to the people in that organisation. However, the email was missing the contact information for the organisation. Now, the email includes email, telephone, and web contact information (when available) for support.
-
NHS Scotland only. Administration emails sent after creating a waiting area included a missing-image icon. Emails now include the Near Me logo.
-
We also fixed some small user-interface issues. These include MFA-settings and change-email panels unexpectedly closing when rotating a mobile device, correcting typos in button labels, and checkbox rendering.
